A very lovely Buying Trip

One for me, one for the shop is usually how our buying trips go, this season the whole team got inspired and had a few days at the very fashionable Fashion Show that is SCOOP International held between the Saatchi Gallery and the Phillips.

Scoop is a boutique womenswear tradeshow, showcasing emerging and established directional fashion designers across two London venues.

This July 2014 edition of Scoop featured more than 400 collections of the best in contemporary and premium womenswear, accessories, footwear and lifestyle products.  We attend, to place orders with our current suppliers for SS15, we also look for emerging New Designers and to pick up new talent in other areas of the shop.  Last year we picked up a fabulous footwear brand Solsana and this year we picked up a fabulous New Label which we are looking forward to having part of our brand portfolio in Attic Womenswear.
Scoop is a real luxury, the surroundings are perfect for a fashion show, its a really inspiring space.  The products speak for themselves on white rails against white walls and the collections truly do speak to you.  Its a chance to meet designers, brands, agents and other 'like minded' people in the Fashion Industry.  We tagged a visit to our favourite brand Day Birger et Mikkelsen in New Bond Street and also Hoss Intropia and we even managed a little personal, shopping to fill our already expanding wardrobes.  Girls I had to wait for him to go to bed until I could bring in my shopping from the bottom of the garden that night!

Launched in February 2011 by fashion industry expert Karen Radley, Scoop’s first seven seasons have already been an amazing success
